AWS charges for IPv4 address
From February 2024, AWS has started charging public IPv4 addresses created in your AWS account irrespective of whether they are being used.
Charges are
$0.005
/hour of public IPv4 ($3.6
/month).For new account there is a free tier for EC2 service for 750 hours/month of public IPv4 for first 12 months.
For other services there is no free tier.
In case of Load balancer one public IPv4 per AZ, no free tier applicable.
Visit AWS billing dashboard or AWS Public IP Insights service to get insights to the charges incurred due to this.

AWS VPC IP Address Manager service (IPAM) gives the details about the public IPs being used in your account, note this will incur charges depending on the features of service being used.
IPv6
IPv6 has no charges, and the above change is to make the transition possible.
As many devices and ISPs does not provide the required support for IPv6 addresses, one should test whether they are compatible by visiting this site.
To avoid above charges use IPv6.
